Livingston HS reports Snapchat threat from student on second week of school

LIVINGSTON, Texas – During the second week of the school year, Livingston High School reported that it had received a threat originating from one of its students.

According to information shared by the school, the threat was circulated on Snapchat and was seen by multiple students. Concerned about the content, one of the students who received the Snapchat post reported it to the campus administration.

In response, Livingston High School officials involved law enforcement, who intercepted the student responsible for the threat.

The school has since confirmed that the situation is under control and there is no ongoing threat to the safety of students or staff.
