A 16-year-old girl whose disappearance prompted an Amber Alert has been found safe, according to authorities.
The Harris County Pct. 4 Constable’s Office said she was found safe in Huntsville.
A social media post from Mark Herman’s office thanks all of the law enforcement involved in this case.
“A special thank you to the Huntsville Police Department, Texas DPS, and the Park Rangers for their outstanding assistance in helping our Constable Detectives bring her home safely.”
Authorities say the suspect in the case, 22-year-old Nathaniel Young, is in custody.
He will be brought back to Harris County to face charges. It is unclear at this time what all charges he will be facing. Authorities will continue to investigate.
