Thirty-six students were transported to local hospitals for further evaluation; no life-threatening injuries have been reported.

Parents and guardians of every student involved were contacted directly by the district and notified through SMART Tag.

Students cleared by medical staff will return to their home campuses, where school nurses will monitor them throughout the day. Those needing further care will be taken to the hospital by EMS or released to parents at the North Service Center.

Emergency responders, Cleveland ISD leadership, and law enforcement remain on scene.

The district said it will continue to share verified updates as they become available.
