HOUSTON – Two people were injured after a shooting in the Acres Homes area.
Police said the two were shot and found at a home on Bland Street near Sealey Street at about 12:30 a.m. Sunday.

Officers said the victims had just dropped off their children to their grandmother before the shooting.
Both were taken to the hospital and expected to recover.
The kids were not hurt.
It’s unclear where the shooting happened, but investigators said they didn’t find any bullet holes in the car nor shell casings at the scene.
