A man has been arrested after deputies said he hit two pedestrians, killing one and injuring another, on Saturday morning.
Deputies with the Harris County Precinct 4 Office responded to a deadly crash in the 3100 block of FM 1960 in the Memorial Hills area.

One man was pronounced dead, and a woman was transported to the hospital with injuries.
Deputies said the man and woman were walking along the roadway shoulder when they were hit by a vehicle. The driver then fled the scene.
Deputies located the driver, who they said showed signs of intoxication and refused a field sobriety test. He was taken into custody, and the Harris County District Attorney’s Office charged him with intoxication manslaughter, intoxication assault, and failure to stop and render aid.
