HOUSTON – Authorities are trying to figure out what led up to a deadly shooting in the Galleria area, where police said a woman was shot and killed by her husband early Tuesday morning.

It happened a little after 3:15 a.m. when investigators were called to an apartment complex parking garage on Wild Indigo Street near 610 and the Southwest Freeway.
Responding officers found the woman with gunshot wounds in her torso and leg and rushed her to a hospital, where she died from her injuries.
Initial reports were that the unidentified woman, 31, and her husband were having some sort of disturbance in the parking lot when, at some point, he shot her before fleeing in a truck.

No additional details have been shared, as of this writing, but an investigation and search for the husband is underway.
