HOUSTON – Authorities are trying to figure out what led up to a shooting at a northwest Harris County apartment complex, where at least two of possibly three people were found injured.

Details as to how everything unfolded have not been disclosed, due to the active nature of the investigation. However, around 2:30 a.m., deputies with the Harris Co. Sheriff’s Office said they were called to the Summit at Champions Apartments on Cornerstone Village Drive near Bammel North Houston and Walters Road.
Dozens of shell casings and ammunition were found in and outside of the apartment complex.
At least two people with gunshot wounds were found and rushed to local trauma centers. A third possible victim was also reported to have driven themselves to a hospital, but officials have not found them, as of this writing.
