$5 from every ticket sold and $1 from every drink purchased at the show will go to the Kerr County Flood Relief Fund.

Green himself lost loved ones to the floods. John Burgess, a man from Liberty County who died in the floods, was Green’s half-brother.

The Burgess family also lost Julia, John’s wife, and the couple’s two young sons: 5-year-old Jack and 21-month-old James. The family’s 8-year-old daughter Jenna miraculously survived. An obituary for the Burgess family can be found here.

Two weeks ago, Green hosted a livestream concert to benefit those impacted by the Hill Country floods in Central Texas. The concert was a complete success, raising more than $1 million for families in need.
