The Know Women Magazine, part of a global media company by women and for women, is set to launch in Houston this fall.
The company’s mission: to help one million women be known and celebrated for their hard work and achievements in their business and careers.
“We say that we really focus on ambitious women and that just means any woman with a goal that’s really in charge of her life and really wants to get to the next level,” says Founder and CEO of The Know Women, Sarah Benken Foushee.
The company will recognize dozens of women across the Houston area, from business owners, to entrepreneurs, professionals, movers and shakers in the community who are really leaving an impact. KPRC 2’s Sofia Ojeda is one of the many women recognized in this season’s publication.
The company, which originated in Phoenix, Arizona, is now making its way across the country.
Already launching the publication in North Carolina, next on the list is Chicago and Houston.
“We’ve also got our focus conference coming up on September 5th and that’s our give back conference. That’s for women who are in the early stages 0-10 years in business who don’t know what they don’t know. So we take our women who are in the publication and across the nation we’re bringing them in as the powerhouse mentors and we are going to back that in with the women who are just getting started and help them get to the next level,” added Benken Foushee.
The magazine is set to launch in September.
The Know Women is still scouting for the Houston City Book. If you know a successful woman who should be a part of this, you can nominate them!
