Sienna neighborhood parties stir complaints and concern

SIENNA, Texas – Huge parties at an estate home in a gated Sienna community have neighbors reaching out for help.

The complaints say these parties have been going on for years, with one big event scheduled this Sunday sparking extra concern.

The neighbors speak

Neighbors say it’s not just the parties themselves but what happens during and after that’s troubling them — from noise to trash to questionable activity.

“The parties they’ve had have been terrible,” one neighbor said. “People drinking, using drugs in the street. When a neighbor uses their home to promote large paid parties, selling tickets, it becomes more than disruptive.”

“It’s not just a couple people; it’s several hundred at times,” another neighbor said.

According to frustrated neighbors, there’s no noise ordinance, but the increased activity and trash left in the streets make this both a nuisance and a safety concern.

For example, last year during a Halloween party, a 15-year-old overdosed and had to be taken away by ambulance — though the boy’s father reportedly pulled him from the ambulance to take him home.

The homeowner, who asked not to be named, responded exclusively to KPRC about the situation.

“I shut the party down once the boy took the pill that had fentanyl in it. And his dad said that’s something he normally does,” he said. “If it’s trash, we do clean it up and I pay extra for that.”

Neighbors also complain about traffic jams, but the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office says their hands are tied because it’s a gated community. Sgt. Mathew Hricko of the Sheriff’s Office said the residence has about 19 calls for service, but no arrests have been made.

Traffic and parking violations cannot be enforced because the community isn’t open to the public.

Homeowner’s frustrations

The homeowner shares some of the frustrations too.

“They have parties and block my driveway. I haven’t complained or reported them, but now I’m going to start doing it. They won’t let me in their Facebook community app or even on Instagram. I feel like I’m being discriminated against.”

Looking ahead to Sunday

Despite concerns, the homeowner says there will be no party this Sunday.

“I’m not having a party at all because I told him there’s a leak in my pool and it has to be drained.”

We reached out to the HOA for comment but have not heard back.

The homeowner feels she is being targeted and says she’s involving her legal team.
