POLK COUNTY, Texas – All three suspects from Tuesday’s manhunt in Polk County are now in custody and law enforcement says it was all sparked by a chase involving a stolen truck out of Harris County.

The Polk County Sheriff’s Office says it began on Highway 59 south of Livingston when deputies attempted to stop the vehicle, which had been reported stolen from Harris County. The suspects fled northbound, going through Corrigan and then turning eastbound on US 287.
Approximately one mile from the Tyler County line, the vehicle lost control and crashed near Caney Creek. All three of the suspects ran away from the vehicle and into nearby woods.
Multiple agencies were able to take two of the suspects into custody quickly after the crash. The third suspect was later located and arrested by Tyler County deputies.
All three were transported to the Polk County Jail and now face multiple charges related to the pursuit and the stolen vehicle.
