Exciting movies are hitting the big screen, and while sometimes, it can be tempting to wait until they’re available for streaming, there are some money-saving tips AMC Theatres is sharing for movie lovers who know it’s better to see them on the big screen.

If an AMC Theatre is close to you, and you’re looking to beat the crazy Texas heat this summer, one of the best ways they is encouraging moviegoers to save money is through the AMC Stub memberships.
They offer various options depending on your preferences. The first tier, “Insider,” is free and allows you to watch movies on Tuesdays and Wednesdays for 50% off. Once you are a member, each time you go to the movies, you earn points that allow you to win certain prizes.

The next tier, Premier GO, is actually one of those prizes that can be unlocked for free by watching eight movies a year. The tier can also be unlocked by gaining 5,000 points.
“Once you earn Premiere GO! You will get to enjoy the benefits for the remainder of that year and the next full calendar year," AMC Theatres explained in its FAQ section. “Existing Premiere GO! members will be able to keep their status by earning 5000 points or visiting 8 times during the full calendar year.”
To gain more AMC rewards, you’ll have to join one of the paid tiers. The top tier, A-List, allows members to watch four movies every week with a monthly fee.
If memberships aren’t your thing, AMC also offers discounted tickets during its matinee daytime showings, all before 4 p.m. Also, make sure you are taking advantage of the senior, military, and student year-round discounts.
Also, the AMC Summer Movie Camp still has three weeks left until it finishes on August 13. On Mondays and Wednesdays, AMC has been showing family-friendly movies for a big reduced price. The movies you still have time to catch are “Shrek,” “Migration,” and “The Secret Life of Pets.”
