HOUSTON, Texas – Both teens accused of plotting an attack at Memorial High School earlier this year have accepted guilty pleas on Monday afternoon.
Last week, we learned that one of the teenage girls pleaded true to conspiracy to commit murder and would be monitored and on probation until the age of 18. They also said the teen would receive psychiatric care.

And on Monday, July 21, we learned that the second teen pleaded guilty to making terroristic threats.
In February, the FBI in Houston arrested two teenagers, ages 15 and 16, who they said were planning an attack at Memorial High School using firearms and pipe bombs. The alleged plan was uncovered through online threats, prompting swift action from law enforcement, including the FBI, Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, and Spring Branch ISD Police.

At the time of their arrest, the FBI said the Memorial High School and Willis High School students were in the early stages of planning the attack, which involved placing pipe bombs around the school and using guns to target students.
In February, during a court hearing, we learned that the Memorial High School teen had been previously diagnosed with depression and anxiety and had a history of self-harm dating back to 2022, according to her mother.
