Police said officers were called to Allen Parkway near Park Vista Drive at about 2 a.m. Saturday.

When officers arrived, they found a 16-year-old shot multiple times.
He was taken to the hospital where he was in stable condition.
Police were investigating what led to the shooting, but they think the 16-year-old was caught in between a shootout.
“Our victim happened to be at the wrong place at the wrong time,” said Lt. Ali with the Houston Police Department.
No suspect information had been released.
