City leaders are set to gather Monday at 8:30 a.m. to mark the completion of renovations at the Central Patrol Station in Houston’s East End. Mayor John Whitmire and Police Chief J. Noe Diaz Jr. will celebrate the updated facility at 1217 Morin Place, wrapping up a multi-year project to modernize the historic building.
The historic building, more than 100 years old, now houses both the Houston Police Department’s Central Patrol Station and Special Operations division.
