A 34-year-old man is wanted for an apparent afternoon road rage incident in which he’s accused of pushing and then pointing a revolver at another man as the victim left the Galleria Mall.

Reid Michael Summers is charged with aggravated assault in Harris County. At the time of this writing, he has not been taken into custody.

The incident happened on June 11 around 2:45 p.m. The victim told Houston police he had just pulled out of the parking lot near The Cheesecake Factory when Summers honked at him repeatedly while approaching his vehicle from behind.

Summers then allegedly started yelling at the victim as he came up to the victim’s window. The two men were both out of the car when Summers is accused of shoving the victim.

Summers then went back to his vehicle, according to court records, and as the victim remained standing outside of his vehicle, Summers drove away with a silver revolver pointed at the victim’s head.

The victim took several photos of Summers and his vehicle, a 2025 white Honda Pilot, which officers then showed to Summers’ father, who positively identified Summers.

His father told investigators that Summers had already left Texas and was returning home to Arvada, Colorado.

Reached by investigators, Summers allegedly told them he was in Houston for several weeks visiting family and that no one else would have been driving his Honda the day of the incident. He also admitted to owning a silver revolver.

But when police asked him if he was involved in a road rage incident that day, records indicate he told them he needed to speak with his lawyer.

Summers is now wanted on the felony charge. He has a 2008 arrest in Harris County for drug possession, which was dismissed after he completed deferred adjudication, records show.

Any information on his whereabouts should be reported to Houston police or Crime Stoppers.
