HPD is investigating after one person was shot and killed in a shopping center parking lot

According to Houston Police, Midwest Patrol officers responded to a shooting in a shopping center parking on South Gessner Road at around 1:15 a.m. on Saturday.

When police arrived, officers said they found a man with multiple gunshot wounds.

Houston Police and Houston Fire Department personnel attempted to revive him, but the victim died at the scene.

The victim was described as a male, possibly in his early 20s.

Investigators are still searching for the suspect.
