HOUSTON – A man was killed in a shootout at a large gathering in Northwest Harris County.
Deputies discovered a man shot multiple times in a parking lot on FM 1960 near Kuykendahl Road at about 1 a.m. Sunday.

The man died at the scene.
Deputies learned there was a gathering of about 75 to 100 people in the parking lot before the shooting.
Investigators believe there were at least two shooters since they recovered shell casings from multiple calibers at the scene.
No suspect or vehicle descriptions were released.
“With that many people in the parking lot, several shooters, anyone could’ve gotten hit,” said Sgt. Greg Pinkins with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office Homicide Division.
