The event takes place along Allen Parkway at Eleanor Tinsley Park and will run from 4 to 10 p.m. Organizers say it attracts an average of 50,000 attendees each year and is recognized as Houston’s largest annual Independence Day celebration.

This year’s celebration will feature a variety of local, regional, and national performers, with country music star Lee Brice headlining the event and Grammy Award-winning artist Ashley McBryde as a special guest.

The evening will wrap up with a “Texas-sized” fireworks show, choreographed to music and set to begin around 9:30 p.m.
