Ground stop lifted at Bush Intercontinental Airport

HOUSTON – A ground stop issued at Bush Intercontinental Airport due to nearby thunderstorms has been lifted.

The ground stop was originally scheduled to last until 2:30 p.m., but was extended to 3:30 p.m.

Radar shows the storms have since moved off to the north and according to the FAA, the ground stop has since been lifted.
