Daji got engaged to her fiancé, Fenton, on her birthday, marking a joyful milestone in the couple’s love story that began right here in Houston.

The pair first met in November 2023 at a local grocery store. Since then, they’ve shared a love for travel, visiting five countries together in less than a year.
Fenton, a proud Houston native and Army veteran, served in the Houston Fire Department for more than 25 years. Daji, who joined the KPRC 2 team in 2023, calls her role a full-circle moment as she continues her career in the city where her roots run deep.
No word yet on a wedding date, but one thing’s clear, love is in the forecast.
