Midtown/Downtown
“Freedom over Texas” - Eleanor Tinsley Park
Located at Tinsley Park and Allen Parkway, the City of Houston is having its official Fourth of July celebration. Musical guests, country music stars Ashley McBryde and Lee Brice, will perform, along with a fireworks display to conclude the night. A percentage of food and beverage sales will go towards the Houston Food Bank.

Houston Symphony: Star Spangled Salute at Miller Outdoor Theatre
The Houston Symphony will perform on the Fourth of July at Memorial Hermann Park on the Miller Outdoor Theatre stage. The group will commemorate the evening by playing the “Star-Spangled Salute” and conclude their performance with a fireworks display.

POST 4th of July Celebration on Skylawn
POST HOUSTON is throwing a huge Fourth of July celebration with live music and performances, food vendors, fireworks and more. The event starts at 5 p.m. and the fireworks show begins at 9 p.m. See POST Houston’s website for more on entrance requirements.

Galveston
A parade and fireworks show are planned along Seawall Boulevard this Fourth of July in Galveston. The parade starts at 6 p.m. and the fireworks begin at 9:15 p.m.

Summer Bounce Party at Moody Gardens
Moody Gardens Hotel is bringing the fun indoors this Fourth of July week with its reimagined Summer Bounce Party, running July 2–7. Held inside the air-conditioned ballroom, the event features bounce houses, laser tag, a mechanical bull, and more interactive games for families looking to beat the heat.Tickets are $25 per person or $65 for a group of four jumpers. Several Kemah Boardwalk activities will take place this Fourth of July. There will be live music performances by Kalico from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., Clutch City from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. and an Uncle Sam Stilt Walker from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., along with tickets being sold for $40 to ride a Boardwalk Beast Cruise and a FantaSea Dinner Cruise.

Missouri City is hosting its annual Independence Day Festival, FourthFest, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with free entertainment and carnival games, live musical performances and food from local vendors.

City of Webster Fourth of July Celebration
The City of Webster is throwing its annual Independence Day bash at Texas Avenue Park with fun for the whole family. This free event kicks off at 5 p.m. on July 4 and features a magic show, a K9 demonstration by the Webster Police Department, and a patriotic fireworks display to cap off the night. City of Baytown Annual Fourth of July Celebration

The Woodlands
South Montgomery County 4th of July Parade
Several events will be held this weekend in The Woodlands for Independence Day. Montgomery County will have a parade at 9 a.m. at Grogan’s Mill Road and Lake Woodlands Drive and will end at 10:30 a.m.

Friendswood Fourth of July Committee will host its 130th annual Fourth of July celebration this Friday, starting at 10 a.m. with a Parade on Friendswood Drive, between Heritage Drive and Stevenson Park. At 11 a.m., there will be rides, games, food, and entertainment at Stevenson Park and then food and entertainment by the Texas Unlimited band at Centennial Park at 7 p.m. The evening will round out with a fireworks show kicking off at 9:10 p.m.

Red, White & Boom Celebration at Typhoon Texas
From 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., Typhoon Texas will host a variety of events and festivities, including an Uncle Sam stilt walker and live music all day long on Independence Day. The final event is at 9 p.m. and is the large fireworks show visible across the park.

The city of Seabrook is hosting a Fourth of July parade and celebration, starting at 9:30 a.m. The parade will begin at Miramar Shopping Center and conclude at Meador Park. There will also be a children’s parade beginning at the driveway to the library’s drive-thru, joining the parade on N. Meyer Road to Hammer Street, ending at the Meador Park pavilion. The parade will be followed by continued festivities at Meader Park until noon.
