A woman has died after being stabbed in a domestic violence situation in southwest Houston Sunday night.
The crime was reported at 8:37 p.m. and took place near the intersection of S Gessner Road and S Braeswood Boulevard.

The woman was reportedly found by her 13-year-old son, who came home from a nearby store and found his mother severely injured. He left the apartment and called police with a neighbor’s phone.
The woman was in the process of being given CPR when the incident was reported. An hour later, KPRC 2 learned that the woman had died.
The victim was reportedly in her early 40s. She has not been identified.
The suspected stabber, a man in his 30s, turned himself in to authorities. He was reportedly an on-again, off-again boyfriend with the victim.
