Woman stabbed to death while playing game inside west Harris County convenience store

HOUSTON – Authorities are looking for a woman’s killer after she was stabbed to death while playing a game inside a west Harris County convenience store Thursday night.

It happened around 10:30 p.m. on Highway 6 near Mission Bend, where Harris Co. Sheriff’s deputies said the woman was sitting inside playing on a gaming machine.

It’s unclear what led up to the incident, but HCSO investigators said an unidentified man and the woman were talking, and at some point, he stabbed her several times in the chest and head before taking off on a bicycle.

She was flown to a hospital downtown, but died from her injuries at the hospital.
