Murder charges have been filed against a man accused of fatally shooting someone in a parking garage just blocks from the Galleria earlier this month.
Marko Cinan, 23, is charged with murder in the shooting death of Anthony Sanders, 30.

Authorities say Cinan was taken into custody on June 25, by officers with the Houston Police Department’s Narcotics Tactical Team. He remains in the Harris County Jail with bond set at $1 million.
The shooting happened around 5 p.m. on June 3 in a parking garage located at 5015 Westheimer Road.

According to Houston police, officers responded to reports of a shooting and found Sanders suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was rushed to Ben Taub General Hospital, where he later died.
Witnesses told investigators they saw a black Chrysler 300 with shattered windows fleeing the scene. The vehicle was later found nearby. Three men inside were detained, questioned, and released.
Following further investigation, detectives identified Cinan as the suspect. He was charged and arrested weeks later.
