On Saturday and Sunday, Beyoncé Carter-Knowles, also known as Queen Bee, will be taking over the NRG Stadium here in Houston.
The sold-out European and U.S. tour marks the Houstonian’s eighth studio album and has garnered her the 2025 Grammy for Album of the Year.
As the tour makes its stop in Beyoncé’s hometown and only stops in Texas, we can expect a lot of visitors this weekend, so here’s everything you need to know.
When/where will the Cowboy Carter Tour take place in Houston?
Beyonce’s Cowboy Carter and the Rodeo Chitlin’ Circuit Tour will take place in Houston at the NRG Stadium on June 28 and 29. Both days, the concert will begin at 7 p.m.
Can you still get tickets to the concert?
Although the concert is “sold out,” fans can still purchase resale tickets on platforms like Vivid Seats, SeatGeek, StubHub and Ticketmaster.
Bag policy for NRG?
The NRG Stadium has a strict clear bag policy that prohibits backpacks, purses and diaper bags. According to the NRG website, each fan will be able to carry one bag that is clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC no larger than 12” by x 6” x 12” or a one-gallon clear plastic freezer bag (Ziploc bag or similar). Fans may carry in a small clutch purse no larger than 4.5″ x 6.5″, approximately the size of a hand, with or without a handle or strap.
- Each ticket holder, including children, will be able to carry an approved clear bag and a clutch purse.
- Diapers and wipes may be carried in a clear bag; however, diaper bags are not permitted.
- Small clutch bags, approximately the size of a hand, with or without a handle or strap, can be taken into the stadium with one of the clear plastic bags.
- Small cameras and cell phones are permitted if carried in loose or in an approved clear bag. Non-professional cameras with non-removable lenses may be carried inside the stadium as long as the lens is less than three inches in length.
Parking near/at NRG?
If you want to park at the NRG Stadium, the parking lot is located within the Inner Loop of the southern portion of Interstate Loop 610 between Kirby Street and Fannin Street. Parking is $50.
If you don’t want to spend the $50 to park at NRG, there will be parking lots near the stadium, on feeder roads, offering cheaper parking options.

Cowboy Cater merch? Where and how can you get some
After extensive social media research, I’ve found that outside of every stadium thus far, Beyoncé has set up a Cowboy Carter Tour truck that sells merch. According to sources, the trucks sell the largest inventory of items at the show, displaying a huge assortment of Cowboy Carter-themed T-shirts and country attire.
Most T-shirts are priced at $55, with the long-sleeve options costing $70. The hoodies go for $150, while the denim shorts cost $90 and the jerseys retail for $80. The accessories are a tad lower-priced, with both cowboy hats going for $50, her iconic fans costing $35, and patch sets available for $20.
There will also be merch stands set up inside the stadium corridors.
