Texas DPS said troopers, along with the assistance of the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, were involved in a chase with the suspect around 2 a.m.
Investigators said that the suspect lost control of his car on Waugh Dr. and West Gray Street and then crashed into two ride share vehicles.

Troopers said the suspect was ejected from his vehicle. Emergency crews had to help rescue six people from inside of a mini van.
Officials said 8 or the 11 people from the crash were taken to local trauma centers and all are expected to survive.
No word on how the chase started or what charged the suspect may be facing.
