As the NFL offseason continues, one of the most polarizing rookies in the league has been stopped in his tracks.

On Wednesday, ESPN reported that Cleveland Browns quarterback Shedeur Sanders was cited by police Tuesday morning for driving 101 mph, 41 miles above the listed speed limit, in his Dodge Ram TRX pickup truck.

Sanders was pulled over by officers with Strongsville Police Department.

According to the ESPN report, Sanders will either have to pay a $250 fine or fight the ticket in Mayor’s Court next month.

Sanders was selected in the fifth round of the 2025 NFL Draft in April. After being projected to be selected in the early rounds, his slide was the biggest story of the three-day event.
