According to Houston police, a man and two women, all believed to be in their 30s, were standing outside a home when someone in a vehicle drove by and opened fire. The shooter reportedly turned around and fired more rounds at the victims before fleeing the area.

One woman was shot multiple times in the torso and is in serious condition. A man was shot in the arm and buttocks while another woman was struck in the leg. All three victims were taken to the hospital and are expected to survive.

Lt. R. Wilkins with HPD said investigators believe there was some interaction between the victims and the suspect before the shooting, but it is unclear what led up to the violence.

At the time of the shooting, four children ranging in age from 9 to 13 were inside the house. Several bullets hit the home, but none of the children were injured.

Police said they have surveillance video and are working to gather more witness statements. No arrests have been made.
