A man is in the hospital Monday night after a shooting in southeast Houston.
It happened just after 9 p.m. at 11698 Gulf Freeway. Houston police say the victim was found shot at the scene and taken to the hospital.

According to a lieutenant on the scene, the man’s injuries are life-threatening.
The shooter took off before officers arrived.
As of now, there’s no word on who they’re looking for or what led up to the gunfire.
