HOUSTON – Three people were recovering after a shootout in North Houston.
Police said there were multiple disturbances in the parking lot of the Mustang Inn on Tidwell Road near the Eastex Freeway at about 1:30 a.m. Sunday.

They said multiple people pulled out guns and started shooting at each other.
“What we’re being told is that some sort of disturbance took place, a series of disturbances took place in the parking lot of this location, which led to more than one firearm being produced at some point,” said Lt. Ali with the Houston Police Department.
A woman was shot in the leg and a man was shot in the stomach.
They were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and are expected to survive.
Another man with a ricochet wound to the back of the shoulders went to the hospital on his own.
No one had been arrested.
