The stop affects all flights departing from key air traffic centers across the country, including Atlanta, Jacksonville, Dallas-Fort Worth, Miami, Memphis, and Albuquerque.

In addition to the stop, a Ground Delay remains active until 10:59 p.m., with travelers facing average delays of nearly three hours while the storm system moves through the region.

The FAA says there’s a medium (30-60%) chance of the stop being extended.

The advisory impacts all flights heading to Houston from across the U.S., including major hubs like New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, and Miami.

Travelers are encouraged to check with their airlines for the latest updates before heading to the airport.
