During a job fair on Saturday, officials will be holding interviews as they look to fill about 200 vacant roles.
From 10 a.m. - 2 p.m., HCSO will be opening the doors to its academy on Atascocita Road in Humble, where job seekers can apply on-site, complete pre-employment screenings, and meet with recruiters and staff.
Currently, HCSO has vacancies for 189 detention officers, with pay starting at $23.59 per hour, and 10 communications officers, starting at $22.59 per hour. Not to mention benefits offered, including: Health insurance, paid vacation, pension plans, career growth, and more.
Here are the minimum requirements HCSO is looking for:
- Must be at least 18 years old by the date of hire
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent by the date of hire
- Bring valid identification and be ready for testing
