LIVE RADAR: Another round of heavy downpours to bring street flood threats through the lunch hours

KPRC 2 Weather is tracking the storms pushing through the Houston area as they could be just as intense as the last couple of days, making for a rough commute later.

In fact, the thunderstorms are expected to last through 1 p.m. but then should fire up again in the late afternoon into the evening.

Most areas have seen at least an inch or so of rain, and the ground has become very saturated in some spots and can’t take much more rain.
