Employees were arrested at a massage parlor in Spring after an undercover officer was offered sexual acts at the business.
The sting happened on June 5.

Detectives with Constable Precinct 4 Mark Herman’s Office conducted an undercover investigation at Essence Massage, located in the 3400 block of FM 2920. The operation was a response to complaints from the public about the business.
During the investigation, a detective posing as a customer was solicited for sexual acts by a female employee.
Han Meimei was charged with prostitution, while Yali Tong, the proprietor of the business, was charged with promotion of prostitution.
Han Meimei’s bond was set at $100, and Yali Tong’s bond was set at $5,000.
Massage parlors are known to serve as fronts for various illegal activities, including sex work, money laundering, and human trafficking.
