Santa Fe man arrested after multiple stolen vehicles found during search warrant

A Santa Fe man was taken into custody after a plethora of stolen vehicles were discovered on his property during a search warrant.

On June 6, the Galveston County Sheriff’s Office was investigating a burglary that led to the execution of a search warrant at Santa Fe residence.

During the search, investigators discovered a stolen truck, boat, motor, trailer, and a four-wheeler on the premises.

The homeowner, Patrick Hardy, 59, was arrested on two counts of theft of property valued between $2,500 and $30,000, with a bond set at $50,000 for each charge.

He also faces one count of theft of property valued between $750 and $2,500, with a bond of $7,500.

Tonya Spivey, 56, was present during the execution of the warrant and was found to have an outstanding arrest warrant for possession of a dangerous drug. She was also taken into custody.

The investigation remains active.
