As storms continue to roll through the Houston area Tuesday morning, several school districts are experiencing power outages due to the overnight severe weather.

Spring ISD
Several campuses are experiencing power outages due to overnight storms. Maintenance teams are working with CenterPoint to restore power. School is in session with normal schedules, but bus routes are running behind. Parents are asked to be patient as safety remains the top priority.
Humble ISD
Schools remain open Tuesday, May 27, despite power issues at multiple campuses, including BBE, EGE, HE, HHE, OE, WHE, KMS, TMS, KHS, and KPHS. Updates on power restoration will be provided as available.

Tarkington ISD
Due to power outages from the weather, Tarkington ISD will operate on a delayed start schedule this morning, Tuesday, May 27.
“We are actively monitoring conditions in collaboration with local weather authorities and county officials to ensure the safety of our students and staff. Bus routes will run approximately two hours later than usual, starting around 8am. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we navigate this situation with student safety as our top priority.
