Houston, Texas – A man is in the hospital after an argument turned violent outside a northwest Houston apartment complex early Sunday morning.
It happened just after midnight at the Quail Creek Apartments on Grow Lane.

According to Houston police, the incident involved a dispute between a man and his ex-boyfriend’s new partner.
The victim, believed to be in his 30s, was shot in the leg during the confrontation in a common area of the complex.
First responders arrived quickly and applied a tourniquet to control the bleeding before paramedics took him to the hospital. He’s expected to recover.
A possible suspect is now in custody.
