Northwest Houston – According to Houston Police the driver of a black sedan was reported to be speeding northbound on the Eastex Freeway at 12:15 a.m. on Saturday.
Investigators said that the driver was weaving through traffic at a high rate of speed. Police say that the sedan collided with the driver of pickup truck, who then hit an 18-wheeler and a utility pole.

The driver of car was transported to the hospital in critical condition and later died. investigators said all other drivers and passengers involved were not harmed.
The main lanes of the Eastex Freeway at Rankin Road were closed for serval hours during the investigation but have since reopened.
