Initial crews saw flames through the roof of a building and noticed the flames were getting close to other buildings, so additional reinforcements from Cypress Creek, Champions, and the Klein Fire Department were called.

However, firefighters were able to extinguish the flames and keep them from spreading to nearby businesses within 40 minutes. At last check, the sole building suffered only some smoke damage.

An unidentified firefighter, we’re told, suffered a shoulder injury and was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
