SPRING, Texas – Harris County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a double homicide after a married couple was found shot to death inside their Spring home on Friday.

Sheriff Ed Gonzalex says the discovery was made when a concerned neighbor checked on them at their home on Fitzwater Drive. The neighbor hadn’t heard from the couple and decided to see if everything was okay.
Deputies say both victims had gunshot wounds. There was also a small-caliber pistol inside the house, and there was damage to the back door.
Neighbors said they heard gunshots the night before.
No suspects have been identified, and the reason for the shooting is still unknown.
