Houston police said they were called to the complex on Braesvalley near the Meyerland area around 12:15 a.m., where they got at least two reports. One of a fight between about four people outside the apartment playground area, and the second was for the actual stabbing.
When officers arrived, they found an unidentified man, unconscious, who was pronounced dead at the scene by Houston firefighters.
It’s unclear how everything unfolded, but police said they heard from witnesses that someone on the property intervened and broke up the fight. However, things became heated again, and it’s believed one of the men was stabbed to death.
