It happened on S Main Street off Highway 90 and Westridge Street around 11:15 p.m. Initially, investigators with Houston PD were looking into a crash nearby but heard gunshots nearby, so they rushed over and found an unidentified man shot several times in the parking lot.

That man was then taken to a hospital, where Lt. Horelica said he died from his injuries.
