HOUSTON – Texas Governor Greg Abbott is expected to speak with KPRC 2 in an one-on-one interview this afternoon.
Among the topics he will discuss with our Keith Garvin include school vouchers and a bill related to the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), which the governor expects to sign into law on Wednesday.

The Texas House gave final approval on the $1 billion private school voucher program last Thursday.
The voucher, AKA Senate Bill 2, crossed a historical milestone following an 86-61 vote by the lower chamber; this, after it was shut down back in 2023.
