PEARLAND, Texas – Authorities are piecing together what caused a plane crash in Brazoria County.

It happened on CR-129 near Pearland Regional Airport. The Brazoria County Sheriff’s Office says preliminary details point to an equipment malfunction.

Investigators say there were two people onboard and neither was hurt.
