RCS, the company that manages the rides, games, and food stands, is kicking off its entertainment season at the Rodeo in Houston.
“This is going to be the only event across the nation that’s going to have four giant wheels like we have in the past since 2023, 22 and we’re going to have four giant roller coasters as well,” said RCS Vice President Chris Lopez.
The Phoenix-based company used 360 tractor trailers to travel the 1,200 miles and set up the 82 rides, 55 games and 40 food stands.
“It’s rodeo time. Let’s do it,” said Lopez while speaking with KPRC 2′s Gage Goulding on Thursday.
Gage Goulding: “Are we excited?”
Chris Lopez: “Hell yeah, we are absolutely.”
He took our cameras around to all of the new rides this year as well as some favorites.
The new rides debuting at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo in 2025 are:
- Overdrive - Quick action, high powered spinning ride
- Heidi Coaster - Quick coaster where you sit in tubs that also spin
- Royal Wheel - 130-foot Ferris wheel
- Dragon Family Coaster - A fun, family-paced roller coaster
- Enchanted Castle Walk - A fun walk through attraction for all ages
- Hip Hop - An action-packed spinning ride
Chris Lopez: “Where else in this country can you go and get that kind of entertainment?”
Gage Goulding: “Just, H-Town.”
Carnival rides are not included in the price for admission to the grounds. Tickets need to be purchased to ride.
