The rapper and actor is the latest act to join Bun B’s star-studded Birthday Bonanza at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.

Bun B’s Birthday Bonanza, which falls on Black Heritage Night. will feature some of the biggest R&B artists of our time.
From experience, we know that Bun B usually announces his artists in the weeks before his big show; this time, it’s no different.
The first artist named was Keith Sweat, followed by Coco Jones and the R&B group Jagged Edge—a four-member group that includes singers Brian and Brandon Casey, Richard Wingo, and Kyle Norman.

The latest artist announced was Ludacris, but as always, Bun B usually brings out several surprise artists during the big show.
Last year, we saw performances from Drake, Eve, Nelly, E-40, Too Short, That Mexican OT, Ying Yang Twins. The 2023 Southern Takeover featured Erykah Badu, Cupid and David Banner. The first, dubbed Bun B’s H-Town Takeover, was in 2022 and featured Z-Ro, Lil’ Keke, Lil’ Flip, Big Slim, Paul Wall and That Girl Lay Lay.
Bun B’s Bonanza is on March 7 and falls on Black Heritage Day.
