HOUSTON – Investigators are looking for a man who shot and killed his brother-in-law in Acres Homes overnight Monday during a heated argument with his wife.

It happened around 1 a.m. when police said they were called to an apartment complex on Garden City Drive off W Montgomery Road in north Houston.

Based on preliminary details, officials said there was an argument between an unidentified man and woman when witnesses said a brother-in-law came over to try and calm the situation down. Police said the man then shot the brother-in-law before taking off with the gun.
