The Ennis family and the U.S. military veteran team that led their rescue are scheduled to arrive Friday morning at George Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston.

This marks the first time the family will reunite with their loved ones since their rescue and the first time their immediate family in Texas will meet baby Niah, who was born in Haiti.

Following the rescue on Monday, the family underwent medical evaluations and completed administrative paperwork at the U.S. embassy in the Dominican Republic. They received final clearance from the U.S. State Department on Thursday afternoon, allowing Project DYNAMO to escort them to Fort Lauderdale that evening.

Project DYNAMO credits Senator Ted Cruz and Congressman Brian Mast for their instrumental support in assisting the Ennis family through the administrative process.
