Details are a little confusing due to how everything unfolded; the Houston Police Department was called three times about family disturbances at the home near Morroco Road off Gessner and Tanner Road.
HPD Lt. Willkens said officers were first called to the home Tuesday around 6 p.m. A mother, two brothers, one in his mid-30s and another in his late 20s, that man’s girlfriend as well as their baby were all inside the home. None of them have been identified as of this writing.
During the first call, Lt. Willkens said the man in his 20s was arguing with his girlfriend, but no one wanted to file charges, and police ended up giving him a ride to the north side of Houston so he could cool off.

A few hours later, Lt. Willkens said police were called back out to the home after the younger brother returned in a car and threatened his girlfriend. When the cops got there though, a “family member,” Lt. Willkens said, told police no threats were made and the unidentified younger brother just came to pick up work clothes and left. Officers stuck around though, and again no one wanted to file charges. Police eventually left.
It wasn’t until sometime after 1:15 a.m. Wednesday when HPD was called again. This time they found the younger brother dead at the scene. Lt. Willkens said the mother had fainted because of all the commotion and hurt her head.
From what they learned, Lt. Willkens explained the younger brother came back to the home and asked to stay the night. Both brothers started arguing and after the mother fainted, Lt. Willkens said things got more heated because they were both blaming one another for what happened. At some point, the older brother took out a gun and shot his younger brother in the chest.
